My USMLE Step 1 "Fun Fact" of the day: Chlamydia causes everything. It is the Will Smith of STDs. For example, not only can can it cause PID (and result in infertility in women) but it can cause atypical pneumonia, bronchitis, pharyngitis...and is linked to atherosclerosis and asthma. Like I said, it's the Will Smith: it can sing, it can act, it's full of surprises.
