This Week In Ridiculous Stock Photos lampoons another batch of unintentionally hilarious shots with "Doctors with crossed arms." There seems to be a high demand for pictures of medical professionals looking secure, confident and tired of hanging their arms by their sides in the photography community. You probably recognize this photo from that nursing school pamphlet, a subway ad for a podiatrist, or an article called "Trusting Your Doctor." Whether giving bad news, performing surgery or just standing in front of other doctors, if you're a doctor getting your photo taken this is the go-to pose.
The captions above each photo are hilarious. Definitely a 4-minute laugh kind of moment. And a reminder not to cross my arms so much.
